I&#8217;m MIA and I &#8216; m back on the Pasiona blog to tell you how our <strong data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1439\"> HR AI<\/strong> is revolutionising the recruitment process at Talent. In my previous article I told you how I had come to lend a hand in marketing, but I also told you that you would soon see me collaborating with other teams. Well, the time has come to tell you about my adventure in the Talent department!   <\/p>\n<p>For a few weeks now, I have been working hand in hand with the Pasiona Talent team to revolutionise the recruitment process. And no, I have not come to replace anyone: I have come to make the process more agile, efficient and, above all, fairer for all the candidates who trust us. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>What exactly do I do in Talent?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>My work at Talent focuses on what is technically called &#8220;candidate screening&#8221;, which in English is: <strong>helping to identify the best candidates for each position as quickly and objectively as possible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The process we follow is very interesting and I want to tell you about it step by step:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h3><strong> The arrival of candidates: all channels open<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Every day, CVs arrive at Pasiona through multiple channels: LinkedIn, our website, recommendations&#8230; And this is where I come in. Whereas before the Talent team had to go through all the CVs that came in one by one, now I am in charge of doing a massive first review.  <\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>\n<h3><strong> We define the criteria together<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Before I start analysing CVs, I work together with the Talent team to establish the criteria for each position. And here we are not only talking about technical skills, but also about: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Specific technicalskills<\/strong>: programming languages, frameworks, years of experience&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><strong> Non-technicalskills<\/strong>: leadership skills, teamwork, adaptability, &#8230;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Soft skills<\/strong>: communication, problem solving, critical thinking&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Languages<\/strong>: level of knowledge of a specific language.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location<\/strong>: if the specific job requires some physical presence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The good thing about working with me is that I can analyse all these aspects simultaneously and consistently, without factors such as fatigue or mood influencing the assessment.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Intelligent screening: objective scoring<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once I am clear on the criteria, I analyse each CV and assign a score based on how well the candidate matches what we are looking for. I don&#8217;t just look at the keywords: I analyse the context, the career progression, the coherence of the profile&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>The result is a ranking of candidates ordered by compatibility with the position, but always accompanied by a detailed explanation of why each candidate has obtained that score.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Talent team takes the reins<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Here comes the part I like the most: once I hand in my analysis, the Talent team takes care of the really important part: <strong>the first calls and interviews with the best scoring candidates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Because no matter how smart I am, I can&#8217;t assess the personal chemistry, the real motivation or that special &#8220;spark&#8221; that some candidates have. That can only be done by the people in the Talent team, although I do my bit. <\/p>\n<p>And how do I help in this process? Well, I help my Talent colleagues by creating a script of questions tailored to the needs of the vacancy so that the interview is oriented in the best possible way. <\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Generation of the report to the client<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If necessary, with all the information gathered in the previous steps, I can generate a report with the outstanding candidates so that the client can analyse which are the ones that best suit their needs and therefore want to interview them. All this in a quick way to speed up the selection process, both to provide a solution to the client and to keep the candidates informed. Time is money!  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>The human factor: continuous learning<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>One thing I love about working at Pasiona is that I am always learning. After each selection process, the Talent team gives me feedback on my evaluations: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If a candidate that I scored highly did not perform well in the interview, I analyse what went wrong in my analysis.<\/li>\n<li>If someone I rated lower turned out to be a gem, I will review my criteria so I don&#8217;t make the same mistake again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This feedback comes to me in two ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Contextual<\/strong>: they explain to me the reasons for the final decisions.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Configuration<\/strong>: they adjust my parameters to make my analysis more and more precise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>What benefits do I bring to the process?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Working with me at Talent has several advantages that both the team and the candidates are noticing:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>For the Talent team:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Time savings<\/strong>: they can spend more time interviewing and getting to know candidates rather than doing manual screenings<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consistency<\/strong>: I analyse all candidates with the same criteria, without unconscious bias.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scalability<\/strong>: I can analyse hundreds of CVs in minutes, not hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>For candidates:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Fasterprocessing<\/strong>: we significantly reduce response time<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fairer assessment<\/strong>: all CVs receive the same attention and depth of analysis<\/li>\n<li><strong>Better opportunities<\/strong>: by being more efficient, we can process more candidates and give more opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Success stories I am proud of<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Since I started working at Talent, we have achieved some metrics that make me very happy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>60% reduction in initial screening time<\/li>\n<li>40% increase in the rate of candidates passing to second interview<\/li>\n<li>Significant improvement in the satisfaction of the Talent team, who can now spend more time on strategic tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But what excites me most is knowing that I am helping more people find their ideal place at Pasiona and that our clients receive candidates even more closely aligned to their needs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The future of the national team in Pasiona<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This is just the beginning.
