For more than 25 years, E21 has specialized in the creation, design and manufacture of products and processes focused on dosing and industrial automation. Headquartered in Barcelona, well known for its high technological and industrial development, E21 relies on first class international suppliers and talent to offer the best solutions in the market.

The challenge presented to us by E21 was to migrate the ERP service from a local machine to an Azure virtual machine. Subsequently, the Cloud Computing team secured and performed periodic backups in a high-availability environment on the application needed by the client.

Description

Among the actions developed during the project we can highlight:

  • Creation of a virtual machine in Azure eliminating public access with replication in the same region for high availability.
  • Daily backups of the virtual machine in Azure environment.
  • Automation for VM start and stop in order not to consume unnecessary costs outside office hours.
  • Creation of a point-to-point VPN
  • Migration of service from physical machine on local cpd to virtual machine in Azure.
  • Installation of the vpn service on the equipment to be connected to the ERP service
  • Generation of secure credentials for your login
  • Installation of the service client on the client machine for your convenience of use
  • End-user documentation of the service
