goTalent, first HR software to achieve AA accessibility by the hand of the passionate team

More and more steps are being taken in terms of mandatory accessibility on the web and applications. In the field of public administrations it is an increasingly regulated aspect that has already been implemented as a legal requirement.

However, in the private sphere, it is still at the mercy of the strategic decisions and ethics of each company to bet on accessibility and guarantee equal and non-discriminatory access to websites and applications. goTalent is one of the clearest examples of commitment to accessible technology.  goTalent’s HR management platform has become the first to implement AA accessibility criteria, thanks to the project carried out by our teams of specialists in Accessibility, UX and development. A fact that fills us with joy not only for the success of the project, but also for what it means of commitment to accessibility and the grain of sand towards the achievement of a more egalitarian and inclusive society in areas as essential as labor. Following the need raised by goTalent, our teams have adapted the software of their HR platform to the accessibility requirements of level AA, thus guaranteeing the use by employees with reduced vision or blindness. In addition, our Design and UX team has carried out the redesign of the tool both in the visual and usability fields, a necessary step given the high number of users of the portal and the enormous amount of information it manages. Thanks to this development by the Pasiona team, goTalent thus becomes the first HR management software to apply AA accessibility. All companies that choose goTalent for their HR management can finally offer an inclusive and accessible environment, adapting to the needs of people with reduced vision or blindness.

The success of the project has been resounding. The client was looking for “a partner that would generate the maximum confidence and enthusiasm to accompany us on this path”, explains Jorge Bravo, CEO of goTalent. In Pasiona, he adds, “we have not only had that partner, but also total involvement on the part of all, compliance with the established deadlines, dedication and great enthusiasm. It was certainly the best possible choice.” goTalent software helps HR departments streamline communication and management processes, with automation of those longer tasks, which allows them to focus their efforts and attention on those that add greater value to the company, and thus, be more effective.

The growing digitalization in companies, especially in areas such as people and talent management, has not evolved at the same pace as accessibility. There are more and more platforms, software and applications designed to facilitate the processes of this management, but the necessary part of accessibility is not being addressed.  goTalent, a company based in Madrid, sells an online Human Resources management software, responsive, multi-language and multiplatform. Through the goTalent program, companies can manage essential information such as the online evaluation process of their employees, potential, talent, career and development plans, or variable compensation, among others, as well as an App for permanent employee feedback.
