Pasiona joins the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training

Equipo Comunicacion 14/03/2017

In Pasiona we detect the constant need to have very specialized technicians who acquire very specific skills and abilities.

The best way to respond to this need is, of course, to train these professionals, preparing them in practice as a complement to their regulated training, with the plus of doing so in the business context itself. With this clear idea and within the framework of our firm commitment to training, we have just joined the Alliance for Dual VET, the state network of companies, centers and institutions committed to the development of this training modality and with the aim of adapting current educational levels with the needs of the labor market.

The link between company and training centers is basic and essential to guarantee the best training of present and future, especially in the ICT sector, where specialization is a constant requirement. The decision to join the Alliance for Dual FP is our way of reinforcing the commitment to maintain a constant and stable relationship with training centers, so that we contribute to the development of the network and to a quality education oriented to the labor market with all the guarantees and the greatest involvement.

In this context, currently five students of the Salesians de Sarrià center of the Higher Degree of Web Application Development DAW, are working with us in an internship contract in Dual FP modality, with the forecast of incorporating new students during this year. In addition, we recently received a delegation of educators and representatives of the city of Torino (Italy) what our experience in Dual FP is being, from the hand of Salesians de Sarrià, who have recently given us recognition as a reference company for our involvement.

The Alliance for Dual Vocational Training is an initiative of the Bertelsmann Foundation, the Princess of Girona Foundation, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, driven by the high rates of youth unemployment in Spain and the not always optimal match between the training offered and the needs of the labor market.
