Hello World: Guarantee the technical, security and usability accreditation of your health app
For a year and a half we have been in charge of the technical, usability and security accreditation of the mobile applications that are part of the AppSalut portal, a showcase of apps from the health and wellness sector certified as a safe and reliable environment in the use of this technology.
The TicSalut Foundation, dependent on the Department of Health of the Generalitat, has entrusted us with this accreditation task according to our specialization in both Mobile Development and UX / UI Design. And it is in this context that next Friday, the 11th, we will participate in the Hello World conference, in which we will be giving advice to mobile app developers in the #eHealth environment. Registrations are free and can be made through this link both today and tomorrow.
The first part of the day will be dedicated to the presentations of the experts of the accreditation committee, including our head of the Mobile department of passion, Juan Cuello, who will explain what are the technical keys when developing a health app. From 11am, and within block 2 of the event, several advisory points will be installed for developers attending Hello World.
This information day is part of the line of work in which the Fundació TIC Salut Social has been working for two years with the aim of promoting a model of accreditation of apps in the health and social environment. They seek to offer guarantees to users, both citizens and professionals, in the use of trusted applications to improve their state of health and well-being. “In many cases, the applications that we find in the markets do not have any guarantee for the user, and for that reason professionals are reluctant to prescribe an app to their patients,” they indicate from Tic Salut. In this context, the objective of this Friday’s conference, which is held at the TecnoCampus in Mataró, is “to disseminate these models and criteria that we have defined, share them with the public and encourage the accreditation of apps”, they conclude.
