The client needed a portal to provide access, to its extensive network of collaborators, to the catalog of products marketed by the different sections of the RACC. The following needs had to be met from this portal:
- Management of the RACC’s own network of distributors and mediators, with different levels of access.
- Access to the RACC product catalog to be able to offer to potential customers.
- Possibility of contracting these products. To this end, the website had to be able to integrate with the RACC’s internal systems in order to be able to carry out these contracts, including the financial part of the contract.
- Contracting reports, invoicing, customer tracking, etc… provided by the platform itself.
- Integration with different RACC internal systems to achieve a bidirectional communication between both systems.
To do this, the screens and the necessary flows were defined from the UX team through analysis and prototyping meetings in InVision, and once the functionalities and designs were validated, the project was developed as a joint team between the RACC (Product Owner) and Pasiona (Srum Master and Developer Team), being DevOps the repository of the Backlog and source code, along with the CI/CD. At the technical level, a web application was made in Azure, using REACT technologies for the Front End, and .NET Core for the BE, with a SQL Server database.
Actions taken by the Agile team:
- Training to all stakeholders on Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
- Support to Product Owners to obtain optimal scope definitions and prioritization.
- Support to partial deliveries (reviews) and continuous process improvement (retrospectives).
