The IT profiles that have marked 2025 (and that will also dominate in 2026): salaries of up to 75,000 € and international projects.

As 2025 draws to a close, the Spanish technology market confirms what is already evident: the war for IT talent is the silent engine that is reshaping the economy. According to the latest
Mapa del Empleo Tecnológico
by the Cotec Foundation, 494,000 technology jobs have been created in Spain since 2013, and almost half of them came about after the pandemic. This pace has consolidated the demand for increasingly specialised profiles, which companies are urgently seeking to sustain their digital transformation.
At Pasiona we work with giants such as AXA, Grupo Occident or Travelport, and from our Talent area we have drawn up a balance of the most in-demand IT profiles in Spain in 2025, with salary ranges reaching €75,000 and a panorama that will continue to be tense in 2026.
The IT profiles most in demand in 2025
Full Stack Developers
They have continued to be the backbone of digital projects. With experience in technologies such as React, Angular and Node.js, and applying best practices such as Clean Code, SOLID and TDD, they have been indispensable in banking, insurance and traveltech projects. Their salary range has been between 28,000 and 60,000 euros, depending on their experience.
Cloud & DevOps Specialists
They have established themselves as the most stressed profile in the market. With experience in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, along with knowledge in Kubernetes and Docker, these professionals have seen their salaries increase by up to 15% in a single year. Today their salaries are between 45,000 and 70,000 euros, especially in cases with cloud certifications.
AI and Data Profiles
From Data Engineers to Machine Learning Engineers, they have found fertile ground in sectors such as banking and pharma, where they work in fraud detection, risk scoring and predictive analytics. By 2025, their salaries are set to be between €40,000 and €65,000, with an upward trend as companies multiply their investment in artificial intelligence.
Experts in cybersecurity and service continuity
The growing threat of cyber-attacks and regulatory pressure have raised the value of profiles capable of ensuring compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST. This year, their price has reached between €42,000 and €65,000, with year-on-year increases of 8-10%.
Software Architects and Tech Leads
They have gained prominence as technical leadership figures. They design distributed architectures, lead teams and guarantee quality in agile environments. Their salaries are already between 55,000 and 75,000 euros, with peaks of up to 80,000 euros in strategic projects.
What talent values most in 2025
If one thing has become clear in 2025, it is that salary is no longer the sole determinant of an IT professional’s decision. More and more candidates are prioritising a hybrid working model – three days remote and two days in the office – as a non-negotiable standard. Flexibility has become an immediate competitive element: companies that don’t offer it lose attractiveness to those that do.
Contractual stability has also weighed heavily in the decisions. Permanent contracts continue to be a magnet in a sector where turnover is common, and consultancy firms that guarantee this from day one have had a clear advantage.
Added to this is a third decisive factor: the opportunity to participate in large-scale international projects. Working for banking, insurance or traveltech giants, with a real impact on the lives of millions of users, has been one of the main motivations for those who have turned their careers around this year.
At Pasiona, this combination of flexibility, stability and challenging projects has established itself as our most attractive value proposition for candidates. Those who wish to take the leap into these opportunities can discover them on our

From 2025 to 2026: the pressure does not go down
If 2025 was the year of Cloud & DevOps Engineers and cybersecurity specialists, 2026 looks set to be marked by growing demand for applied AI, advanced security and distributed cloud architectures. The challenge for companies will not only be to attract the best people, but to create environments where talent can thrive and stay engaged.
In this regard, our
collaboration models
have proven to be a competitive advantage for companies that need to scale their capabilities without losing agility. Through specialised teams or staff augmentation formulas, companies can access the most in-demand talent in a matter of weeks.
Pasiona’s Talent area summarises it as follows:
“2025 has shown that IT talent is the most strategic resource in the digital economy. Our commitment in 2026 is to continue to be the bridge between the great professionals who want to grow and the companies that need to innovate”.
